In Komodo Edit 12.0.0, build 18447, code intel works perfectly. I’m working with this waiting fixing for IDE.
@frasme, I started looking into the html code intel issue this morning but am not able to reproduce the issue any more. I had several other people test and they’re not able to reproduce the issue either.

I’ve tried K12 just now. HTML suggestions works on HTML documents (or PHP files), but not in Smarty Templates. I work very much with Smarty Templates. May be a problem of smarty plugin?
Oh I honestly don’t know off the top of my head if that’s supported. It worked in Komodo 11? I’m not familiar with a Smart plugin and I don’t see one in the Packages. Which plugin are you referring to?

If can help I’ve noticed that codeintel is different from KEdit12 and KIde12 in user’s application support folder. Seems that KIde use db and KEdit file system.

Re code intel IDE and Edit: Yep, they are different. We re-implemented it for Komodo IDE 11, but stuck with the original implementation in Edit. I’m not sure why that is relevant though, unless I missed you mentioning that this works in Edit. Is that the case?
Yes, works in Edit but not in IDE.
I don’t understand what sample code I should provide. Completions doesn’t works for me in every *.tpl files, not only in a particular case. In Edit works and in IDE doesn’t.

Hi, I would try to revamp my question.
I’ve installed a fresh copy of Komodo IDE 12, but nothing is changed.
I’m talking about HTML completion in .TPL files (Smarty Template). Basically they are HTML files, so i would expect for completion working as in .HTML ones, but is not so.
In Komodo Edit 12 all works fine.
My system is a Mac with OSX Mojave.
