Where are new color schemes stored in Komodo Edit?

I used the color scheme editor to change a color setting, and was prompted to enter a new name for it. Now I would like to know where this new scheme file is stored on Windows 10, so that I can include it in my daily backup.

I had expected that the configuration is stored somewhere below

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\ActiveState\Komodo Edit

but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Morning @rovf,

You are very close. It’s %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\ActiveState\KomodoEdit, no space between Komodo and Edit. Your new scheme will be in the schemes folder. You’ll want to backup the following to be thorough:

  • tools
  • project-templates (if you have it)
  • templates (if you have it)
  • XRE/extensions (just the extensions folder)
  • schemes
