Saving file with .html extension

I am just getting started. How do I save a file to create a .html extension?

@MikeS,
You can either open a file from a template (html in this case); File > New > File from template.

Or you could just create a new file (File > New > New File, or Ctrl/CMD + N) then save the file with the extension you want by typing it in.
