Not able to get Komodo Edit download to work properly

I keep getting "Komodo Edit 9 quit unexpectedly. And it says to click reopen to open the application again. However, it keeps giving me the same Problem Report, please help. I’m using MAC OS X

Komodo 9 only supports 10.9 and up. You can still use Komodo 8.x.

Sorry to bother you again, but I tried downloading the 8x, and it was giving me Komodo 9 version. You wouldn’t happen to have a link?
