Hi, I use Komodo Edit (GNU/Linux version) to develop in PHP (testing before upgrade to Komodo IDE). When i try to open xml file i notice that the process ~/.komodo_edit/9.3/lib/mozilla/komodo send the cpu to 100% (and over).
Anyone have this issue?
If you have a really big XML file it might take some time to load it and syntax highlight it. Does it go away after a while? Or is it persistently at 100%?
Yes, when the xml file is large. but the cpu is i5 … I see on an old pentium, but did not think it would increase too much on an i5. sometimes it happened even during regular use…
A better processor would just be more efficient at processing large datasets, but a large dataset remains a large dataset.
