I am using Komodo 8.5 to edit HTML files remotely. It all works well apart from when trying to edit large files of about 3,000 lines - Komodo hangs and saves the file in the end but after a long time and during that time the software is completely unusable. The same thing happens even if I download the file locally and do the edits and saves on the desktop.
Any ideas?

Komodo’s remote file operations do work synchronously (so it will block the UI whilst the remote file is saving), but it shouldn’t take too long for 3000 lines (on a reliable network) and certainly not long when it’s a local file on the desktop.
Do you have a sample file we could check? Please create a bug here and attach the file if you do:
