Komodo IDE Ubuntu 14.04 Rx Toolkit no highlighting

After upgrading to Komodo 9 (Ubuntu 14.04 / VMWare) the highlighting stopped working in the RX Toolkit.
Could use any suggestions.

Change the background color of match_highlight element in Preferences - Color Scheme - Language Specific. Pick Regex in the dropdown-list of languages (Other - Regex).

Were you using one of the color schemes that come with Komodo?

I was using Monokai_Dark (come with Komodo).

I was using Tomorrow_Dark, also built-in
