I was using Komodo 9 which has just started to close (after a 1 - 3 second delay) when it hits a breakpoint in any perl code. The error messages in the logs are identical to the Komodo 12 logs pasted below.
In an attempt to bypass this problem I installed Komodo 12, but it exhibits the exact same behaviour. When debugging a perl script, komodo stops on the breakpoint and within 3 seconds closes, without giving any error.

I have installed the certificate which was touted as a solution for a similar problem - from this post.
I run windows 10 and strawberry perl. Used komodo 9 fine without incident 2 days ago, have made no changes to the computer, perl, or komodo itself.
Any advice greatly appreciated
