How do we set the number of files displayed on the Recent Files menu? At http://docs.komodoide.com/Manual/files, it says “Most Recently Used List: The most recently visited files are accessible from the File|Recent Files menu. The number of files in the most recently used list is determined by the Appearance preference.” That links to http://docs.komodoide.com/Manual/prefs#UI_Configuration, which states “Most Recently Used / Number of projects: The number of projects displayed on on [sic] the Recent Projects menu. Number of files: The number of files displayed on on [sic] the Recent Files menu.” But Edit|Preferences|Appearance does not have a setting for “Number of files”. And Edit|Preferences|File Opening, the logical place for it, has no setting for “Number of files”.
I’ve opened a ticket for this. Thanks for reporting @mjross: Remove MRU preferences, use sensible defaults instead · Issue #2473 · Komodo/KomodoEdit · GitHub

I just now noticed that the manual mentions it as a configurable setting:
Number of files: The number of files displayed on on the Recent Files menu.
Perhaps the setting storage and logic are present but not currently used.
The manual states it is located in Edit > Preferences > Appearance, although it does appear to be. Edit > Preferences > File Opening is definitely the obvious place for it.
