File does not show up in edit window->solution

I clicked a file a.komodoproject. The opened Komodo did not open a file from any source (drop down, file menu, places doubleclick) for edit. It just did nothing, no error message etc…

My solution:

  • edit the file a.komodoproject and remove the <preferences>...</preferences> part. In my case life update was set there to 0, apparently causing the upper phenomenon.

Did you save the block contained within <preferences> by any chance? I’d be very interested to have a look at it.
