First, thanks for including the Classic Skin.
The new icons (in the Projects side bar) introduce inconsistency in the case where the user has specifically indicated their preference to Komodo. Komodo should respect the user’s choice.
If I choose the Classic Skin I expect to see the same icons that OS uses in it’s file explorer - not the new icons.

Are you talking about the Classic iconset? We do not ship with a classic skin.
Regardless, the classic iconset is not very well maintained, honestly I will probably end up removing it from the base product and maintain it as a separate addon that you can install/modify.
I will be updating it, but it’s not a major priority compared to all the other moving parts in this release.
