I composed a book using LaTeX on Linux. I uploaded the PDF to Amazon to produce its print versions. A third party used my PDF to create a Kindle eBook in KPF format, but didn’t send me the materials they used. I got Amazon to send me the KPF file, but they said I can’t edit the eBook that way. I found web pages that assert I can edit it using komodo. I’ve unzipped the KPF (which is just a zip file). It contains a PDF, but trying to edit that doesn’t work. I have no idea what to do next.
Hey @vsnyder,
I found web pages that assert I can edit it using komodo
Got a link to that page by any chance? More context would be helpful.
My guess though is that what you read was referring to a “Komodo Project File”, or *.kpf. Komodo isn’t build to work with PDFs unfortunately.
Ref for KPF file in Komodo: Komodo 11 Documentation (activestate.com) (You’ll need to Ctrl+F for kpf).
I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what the recommended procedure would be for your situation.
