I’ll give that a try. Do I need to worry about the .ksf file?

I don’t think so but I’m not sure which ksf file you’re referring to. You can always back up your profile before doing anything that might be destructive.

In my profile’s schemes/ subdirectory there are just two files: Admin.kkf and Admin.ksf. I was wondering about the latter.

Ahh, I guess you made a colour scheme called Admin? That file should be fine but ya, can’t hurt to back things up.
