Komodo IDE X: Tooltip flickers fast in debugger and does not show variable content

If i am running Perl code in debugger, in code window for a quick look I use the tooltip to show current content of a complex Perl variable.

With a simple scalar like $test the tooltip shows content, with a complex var as @array the tooltip flickers very fast and does not show any content.
That worked in older Komodo IDE. Annyoing for our programmers in office.

I reported this as issue 1585

Any solution or workaround?
