File tabs have disappeared in version 10

Hi,

I’ve just tried out version 10.

After some trials with different interfaces to see how the look like and having decided for a “Classic” interface. Also after having installed the seemingly little upgrade that was available. I realize now that I do not have any longer the file tabs on the upper border of the editor pane.

What could I have done that removes those tabs? And most importantly, how can I get them back?

Also, it might be related the fact that under the “Files” tab, inside the left side pane, the number of open files never gets to 0. Shown in the uploaded screenshot.
