Disable Zero length cut or copy (or paste)

In Komodo 9, is there a way to prevent a zero-length cut or copy? I keep cutting nothing and pasting that, which is not want I want at all.

@Scorp1us,

This is expected behavior; if there is no selection Komodo will cut/copy the current line. It doesn’t currently check if the line is empty.

I’m not aware of an option to disable this. Feel free to file an enhancement request to add a pref.

@Scorp1us you can disable this behavior trough the preferences.

Thanks. I can’t believe I missed that! I did look. Curiously, my dialog is laid out a little differently.

If you want to completely disable the feature of copying the line when you don’t have a selection then @babobski suggestion makes sense. I thought you were asking for copy/cut to not work when there is nothing on the line though, but still wanted to copy and cut lines.

I’m evaluating the setting. I’ll file a issue if I still want something different. Thanks everyone.
