For some reason View/Toolbars/Show Menubar doesn’t always persist after restart, although I can’t reproduce this. Just curious, is this configured in prefs.xml? I see some menubar-related things there, but I don’t know what I’m doing. Thanks!
Yes this setting is saved in your prefs.xml. I don’t recommend you edit that file though. That’s a really quick way to get corrupted prefs.

The only reason the menubar would not persist properly is if Komodo shut down improperly. We have a bug open for this issue and hope to address it soon.
